Project Description:

Project Value:

Approx. $110,000

Challenge:

The community at Maranatha CRC was building a new sanctuary.

The new sanctuary needed sound, video, and lighting that would serve there current needs as well as their needs looking forward for the coming years.

Distributed audio was also required throughout 15 classrooms and other meeting spaces. Portions of the old sound system were to be repurposed in the gymnasium.

Solution:

Working in collaboration with the general contractor and, we worked alongside other trades to coordinate the implementation of this project.

The sanctuary audio system repurposed their existing Allen and Heath GL series mixer. The main loudspeaker system was comprised of Fulcrum Acoustic loudspeakers and subwoofer with Tannoy front-fill speakers. Power was provided by QSC. EAW monitors provided high quality monitoring for musicians on stage.

High power wide screen Sony projectors ensure bright images in high levels of ambient lighting, while Leviton LEO lighting fixtures light the stage while keeping light from bleeding on to the screens. Video control and switching is provided by a high quality Kramer switcher/scaler.

QSC and EAW loudspeakers make up the distributed loudspeaker system. Cabling infrastructure was run, allowing expandability and the ability to add more distributed video and PTZ cameras easily in the future.

When other aspects of the project where behind schedule we worked hard to ensure that we finished on time and on budget.
