Installation Technician and Client Support – Job Description

DWL audio-visual is a small growing AV service company. We need help to install audio-visual systems so that we can continue to grow. Can you help? We look forward to doing great things together.

Roles include:

Involvement with AV system installations:

– involvement throughout the installation process

– general construction and fabrication

– equipment wiring and comissioning

Other duties as required:

– we are a small business, expect to chip in as needed

Qualifications:

Understand the needs of the churches we serve and the unique dynamics of these institutions

– involvement in a local church is an asset

Audio-visual system experience:

– interest and familiarity with live sound, video displays, broadcast systems, stage lighting

– understanding of electronics is an asset

– soldering and cable assembly experience is an asset

– AVIXA CTS certification is an asset

General construction experience

– Construction experience and competency with general power tools an asset

– Finish carpentry or welding/fabrication skills an asset

Troubleshoot problems, able to find solutions independently while still communicating well as part of a team

General Computer literacy:

– competent with Microsoft Office Apps, Google Apps required

– Visio and D-tools experience an asset
